During last years, generational expectations confirm this interest. The Generation Y employees ask for more than linear and hierarchical progression within the organization, they want to have a lifestyle allowing them to balance their existence between work, family, leisure …Work seems to be less central to their lives ! (Jean M. Twenge ,2013)

In Morocco, many of those changes took place in last decades. In this context we tought that it is important to underestand the place of work-family interface in Morroco. Our study has the aim to understand the societal changes which impact the work-life interface and to explore if companies take this issue in consideration. By this paper we are exploring the situation of the work-family interface through an analysis of the organizational and societal changes.

Since the aim of this study is comprhensive, an inductive and interpretative approach is appropriate (Yin 2003). The study was based in a qualitative design and interpretitive approcah (Sandberg, 2005) through semi-structured interviews with experts : human ressources directors, HR consultant, sociologists and psychologists. This paper gives a descreiptive overview about the societal level and organisational level .

The results shows that many changes affects the work-family interface which is rather conflictual in Morocco specially for women. The companies has some practices which are informal in the majority.

Keywords: Work-family balance,Family Friendly Practices, HR Practices, HRM, Morocco JEL Classification: M12 Personnel Management, Executives. In this context, our research work illustrates, through an empirical study on a sample of 20 stocks listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, how to optimize a portfolio when returns are not normally distributed, especially in an emerging financial market like that of Morocco. where stock returns have thick distribution tails.

The study demonstrated that portfolio optimization by integrating higher order moments is a multi-objective optimization whose outcome depends on investor preferences. The study also demonstrated that the use of "mean-variance" optimization, when returns are not distributed normally, can direct investors to a higher level of return than what is in reality.

Lahbous Adam Zammar Rachid Copyright (c) 2021 African Scientific Journal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2021-10-30 2021-10-30 3 8 126 126 10.5281/zenodo.5717840 Personality in vocational choice: approaches, contributions and perspectives for research https://ojs.africanscientificjournal.com/index.php/AfricanScientificJournal/article/view/105

Abstract

Vocational choice is subject to research in several disciplines and is of interest to those working in educational sciences, as well as those in marketing and psychology. It is a matter of individual and professional motivation and guides the decisions regarding the choice of majors and institutions. This analytical review of literature lies at the intersection of two disciplines: consumer behavior and psychology. Our objective is to present and analyze the different methods used to measure the influence of personality on vocational choice, in order to generate the contributions of each method and their overall perspectives for future research in this field. We have selected 28 articles based on four criteria: recency, field of study, the population under study, and the isolation of personality as an independent variable, while excluding work that focuses on interest and / or demographic variables. From the results, we observed a fragmented and atheoretical literature; specific and focused research; and research concentrated in developed countries with a prevalence of quantitative methods. A discussion of the above-stated results as well as their perspectives and implications for future research are presented at the end.

Keywords: Vocational choice, Personality, Decision process.

Catchment structures (boreholes, wells, etc.) are used for its operation. In Ratoma, this resource is requested by the population to make up for the increasingly growing deficit in drinking water. This intense exploitation is explained by a low water supply (29,737.8m3 / d) compared to demand (38,514.2m3 / d). To make up for this deficit, the population makes massive use of groundwater through boreholes. The massive creation of water wells without advice from the authorities is a threat to the sustainability of the resource. In this case, the proliferation of boreholes can have an impact or even an impact on groundwater. Analysis of this situation has shown us that the state of the groundwater in Ratoma is threatened. So to measure the impact of these boreholes, we used an analytical approach by comparison of quantitative parameters, a quantitative hydrogeology approach, for the groundwater exploitation periods of 1985 and 2020. A sample of 1167 boreholes was determined for this study. The analysis of groundwater pumping practices by the population of Ratoma was not addressed in this study.

NINAMOU Tökpö DIAKITE Siné Copyright (c) 2021 African Scientific Journal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2021-10-30 2021-10-30 3 8 187 187 10.5281/zenodo.5727147 New career models : Is it the end of traditional careers ? https://ojs.africanscientificjournal.com/index.php/AfricanScientificJournal/article/view/101
Abstract :

Career management is a field of study that has recently seen the emergence of models that involve a certain fragmentation in the discipline's body of knowledge, including modern career models, whose emergence has contributed to the enrichment of the discipline, while at the same time creating confusion.

Through this article, we attempt to answer, through a critical literature review, the question: will the classical career model cease to exist in the face of new career models?

In reviewing the various research studies conducted on the subject, we believe that although no one can deny the existence of new career models, the traditional career remains the ideal sought by the majority of employees

Keywords: Boudrayless career, protean career, traditional career, career theory, KCM, post-corporate carrer.
SIRAGI Fatima Ezzahra FAHMI Sanaa Copyright (c) 2021 African Scientific Journal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2021-10-30 2021-10-30 3 8 021 021 10.5281/zenodo.5594126 Islamic finance and financial inclusion : a comparative study between WAEMU and MENA https://ojs.africanscientificjournal.com/index.php/AfricanScientificJournal/article/view/109
This study aims to show the influence of Islamic finance on financial inclusion. It was done by a comparative study between countries with a good indicator of development of Islamic finance (North African countries) and those without (West African Economic and Monetary Union) over the period from 2011 to 2020. In this regard, a parametric Student's t-test is performed to carry out this comparison. This test compares two independent samples. The results confirm our hypothesis that Islamic finance contributes to financial inclusion.

Furthermore, these results show the added value that this financial system can bring to these countries and open up the literature for future research in the same field. As Islamic finance is still in its infancy in these countries, the literature is sparse and the work that has been done on the subject is limited to theory. However, these shortcomings make this study original.

YOUSSOUF Ali Bamba EL HACHLOUFI Mostafa Copyright (c) 2021 African Scientific Journal https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2021-10-30 2021-10-30 3 8 142 142 10.5281/zenodo.5727038 Effects and interaction between FDI, human capital and economic growth: literature review https://ojs.africanscientificjournal.com/index.php/AfricanScientificJournal/article/view/106

Abstract

This article aims to highlight the interaction between FDI, human capital and economic growth.
